This letter is to all who follow Riding High Ministries and this work of the Lord Jesus. As you may have noticed, we have not had many current updates. I apologize and take full responsibility. I have had to make some changes in the way I use my time and so my computer time is one of the things that has been cut. I will continue to write updates but they will be limited. I have a couple of Godly men that have offered to write some for us and I look forward to hearing what they have to share. Look for it! As far as the Pierce family goes, we are all doing great. I have been to Minnesota, Massachusetts, and South Carolina already this year and we have events every week for the next several months. So please continue to pray for us. God has given me an increased burden to reach the lost and has given us some new opportunities to reach them. This year we will be more focussed than ever on equipping these men of the PBR to use their position as Pro athletes to impact their following. I feel a little funny about what I am about to say because it may sound like boasting, but its not. I think God has shown us something so profoundly simple that I must share it with you. I am continually amazed at how God will take the simplest of people and do extraordinary things through them. We are a group of possibly the simplest minded individuals in our culture and because of the simplicity of our approach to Christianity, our lives are all being transformed. In the four years I have been with this ministry, God has shown me that ministry is all about relationships. Many ministries that we observe have a business approach to doing things and I am afraid they loose something in the process. What God has shown us is if we will just continue to love him and learn to be intimate with him, then our love for each other will grow. When our love for each other grows then ministry can't help but spring up in our midst. Out of our Love for the Lord and our love for each other, the world around us changes. Maybe you can consider the people around you. How can you reach them? Don't develop a program. Develop relationships! Remember that the church is people, not buildings.
