Update from Todd

Hello family, 

It has been a great week for the men of the PBR and Riding high ministries.  As you know, the things that we see bear fruit are the things that are initiated by the Father.  This past week we had a time of prayer and fasting.  As I shared with the men what the vision was for this time, I found most of them had the same burning desire in themselves.  We felt like we needed to focus on only one thing and that was our desire to be closer to the Father.  We did our best to not make requests or intercessions but just focus on the reality of his love for us and express our desire to love him the same.  Well, I was amazed to find that 21 of the men I am closets with, 18 of which are bull riders, joined me in this fast.  I wonder what can happen when this many radical men get this serious about their oneness with the Father. 

     On a personal note, I experienced a series of memories that went back to when I was about three or four.  As I recalled hundreds of events and relationships that were both happy and sad,  I began to realize the picture the Lord was painting.  He wanted me to see how Rom. 8:28 was a reality.  He had promised that he would work all things together for my good.  He showed me how I could go through extreme high and depressing lows and everything in between. And through it all he is meticulously working to build my life to perfectly fit within the universal Body of Christ.  As a dear friend reminded me today,  the life he has given me is not about me at all, it's about his bride, His Church.  What this means to me is that I can embrace today.  Regardless of the situation I am in, I can look for the hand of God and allow my heart to long for the things he longs for in that situation.  As I am delighting in him, he will cause my desires to be his desires.  I believe this is a key to us fulfilling our destiny. Embrace the NOW!
