Prayer team: If we could only see what happens when we pray earnestly, we may never get off our knees. It seems like things happen so much more efficiently when I am not physically present. I am confident it is because when I am removed from a situation, I pray more fervently. I say this to encourage each of you to please continue your prayers of intercession for this ministry. I have recently taught on the parable of the talents and how that applies to each of us. I would ask each of you to consider the parable and how it applies to you and your part as ministers of the gospel of Jesus as prayer warriors. Remember that we do not war against flesh and blood. The ways we fight include our prayers! Thank you for your faithfulness! This weekend was a celebration of the victories Leslie and I have had in our own marriage. Specifically how we have regained intimacy in our relationship. The lack we had experienced had a lot to do with the truth that no matter how hard we try to communicate our love to each other, if we are speaking the wrong language, it doesn't work. What speaks to me as a man, is not the same as what speaks to my wife. What I need is a healthy sex life and the home taken care of, what she need is entirely different. Reguardless of how sincerely I try to express my love, when I try to give her the same things I need, I fall way short and our intimacy begins to fade. Now that I have found out how to communicate my love to her, our intimacy is growing. As a result of our successes in this dimension of our marriage, I was able to share it with the couples of the PBR. We had some awesome discussion as many of the young couples opened up and shared their struggles with the rest of the group. This element of openness (transparency) is one of the greatest assets we enjoy as a church family. God has continued to open a number of opportunities for us to grow as a ministry and has expanded our influence a great deal. We recorded a commercial that was a very professionally done 30 second spot that will view at each of the PBR events with the intention of encouraging more non-believer to attend our outreach services. Be in prayer about its far-reaching effects. This weekend I am off to Tampa and Jacksonville, FL. A lot is going on so please keep us in prayer. In the service of the King, Todd and Leslie
