HI Family! It is time for me to head to Tulsa for their PBR. Before I
take off I would like to share with you all what God has been doing in me.
The last several weeks has been a dynamic and challenging time in
my personal life. It seems like it has been so long since I have had
the time to spend long hours in prayer and study on a regular basis. I
would like to say that it has been refreshing but the Lord had something
else for me during this time. He has been purging more of my
independence from me. I have counseled many others how important it is
that we reach the end of ourselves before we can truly see God's power
in us. It seems like his taking us from glory to glory means more of
our flesh (sinful nature) must die. I have found that I have fallen
into the trap of believing that Todd Pierce, in the natural, has
something to offer the people around me. Sure I can love them and
present the truth to them, but without repentance on their part change
will never take place. Repentance is a gift from God and I can not
manipulate it. With all that said, it is refreshing to know what we can
and cannot do. So for you, love those around you, counsel them, show
them the hope that is in you, and especially pray for them. But, beyond
that, their response to the Holy Spirit is what will heal them. How
nice to know that the salvation of the world was accomplished through
Jesus and has not been left to you and I. Don't grow weary in doing
