The Father does not define us by simply defining us, He invites us to become His children. When we receive this gift we are not only His children, but heirs to His Kingdom.  Everything that is His is ours as well. As we begin to draw near to our Father and spend time with Him, He begins to impart His D & A to us so that we will take on His character.
We are not qualified for the Kingdom of God by our own efforts but by the acceptence of the Father through the obedience of Jesus Christ to willingly go to the cross and die in place of sinful man. His act of obedience qualifies us to approach Him with confidence not as servants but as beloved children.
He has known us from before the foundation of the world and has chosen us to accuratly portray Him to the world.  He approves of us yet He gives us free will to choose to love Him or not. He continues to pour out his Spirit to us so that the Kingdom of God will flow to us, in us and through us.
A Father will not control His children,  rather He speaks and the ones who are listening will hear His voice. We must be desperatly lietening to hear what the Father has to say to us. As we hear Him and respond to what He is saying He begins to trust us with more of His Kimgdom and power. To hear His voice and to be obedient to what He tells us will manifest in our lives with joy, peace and purpose not heaviness, confusion or distraction.
We are not defined by a moral code of conduct that we are not capable to live up to. Our relationship with him is defined by the obedience and love of our Lord Jesus Christ. We will then be defined by HIS standard (a child of the King) rather than be defined by any other source.
