Hey family!
We got home last night and the trip was good. I leave in
the morning for North Carolina and I will take Tanner (my five year old)
with me. A friend from Australia will join us there as he and I
continue to look for ways we can serve each other to be about our
Fathers business. Loving People!
The Sacramento event was a blast. We had a great service as we had
Leslie and Jaimie Lee lead the worship and Jody Newberry gave a
testimony. Jody modeled repentance as he described an area of
disobedience that was in his life and how confession and repentance has
caused him to regain his passion for life and the Lord. We can preach
it but I love it when men are willing to humble themselves and be
transparent enough to confess to the multitudes what has happened in
their own life. Lives were changed
On the personal level. Leslie and I have identified a problem with
our relationship and I spent last night before the Lord to ask for his
correction. He spoke very clear that I have been trying to get myself
to a position where I am not so busy and the busyness is not the
problem. I am not too busy, I am too burdened. It was a life changing
word from my Father and I ask for each of you to pray for me as I
attempt to step out in obedience and release the burdens I have been
bearing. I will continue to allow to the Lord to love people through me
but I now need to know how to do that without giving my soul away in the
process. I know this is kinda deep but none the les it is real. I am
sure that each of you can relate at some level in your own life. We
must not allow what we do damage who we are!
In pursuit!
Todd
