Off to Dallas |

We are out of here! Leslie and I are headed for Dallas for three full days of great potential for Kingdom building work. I have had the flu again for the last two days. Pray for the health of the rest of the family. It is quite predictable for us to go through this each time we try to leave but the battle belongs to the Lord. American profile Magazine has been working on a story on this ministry for the past six months and will be wrapping it up in Dallas this week. Pray for this project as it is a completely secular magazine and will have this story delivered to millions of people. I am usually quite leery of these kinds of projects but I have seen the Lord's hand in it from the beginning and it has already had a profound effect on the writers life. Pray that the Gospel we be presented clearly and I will not be glorified but the Lord Jesus will. The boys are staying home with grandparents, pray for grandparents. Leslie and I will be attending a benefit dinner Fri. for the Greg Crabtree family compliments of Bow Tech. Speaking of Bow Tech, what a praise report. Leslie and I were not sure how I was going to get to Dallas much more the two of us. Tickets were way high and Leslie and I had just settled that we needed to have her stay and try and get me there. When a friend of mine from bow tech heard this he immediately went to work and a company that makes archery equipment has used their profits once again to assist us in fulfilling this ministry. Praise God for using men and women wherever they are to further the gospel. Also, Leslie and I will be meeting with John King and his wife on Sat. to discuss how we can work together to reach men. John is the head of Christian men's network. Pray for the Lords leading in this as well. We will have bible study Sat. night and worship Sunday morning, Leslie will lead worship. I am sorry I have not been better about keeping you all up to date. I assure you, lots is happening in me and my family during my days at home and I will write about it soon.
