Hello again family, I hope you never get tired of hearing it and I hope I never get tired of saying it. GOD IS GOOD! This has been a rough week, I got sicker than I have ever been in my whole life. I stayed sick for the entire last week and even lost my voice during the middle of the week. The sickness removed me from the front lines, which pushed others to take my spot and made me literally sit down and shut up. I had to trust God to protect these men in the battle and cause these men to turn to the Lord rather than turning to me. We had an incredible support team there that also filled in for me and continued to fulfill their ministry. We had the Coomler and Perry family from California, Dusty Lapp, The Kingstons from Montana, Becky Hable as well as some other volunteers who handed out 40,000 tracts containing testimonies of many of the riders, 1,500 Bibles, visited with hundreds of the fans from our outreach booth. Ron and Dusty did bible study and prayer with the stock contractors each morning and more or less spread the love of Jesus all over Las Vegas. In addition to all of these real practical lessons and visible opportunities for growth, we had the most fruitful service of the year on the final Sunday. Quick story. Sunday morning, an hour and a half before the service was to begin, we decided to have a group prayer. We had done all we could in the natural to make sure everything was set to honor the Lord with this final service. We had rented a ballroom and had about three thousand chairs set up, had a stage with $2,500.00 worth of sound equipment on it. We had five singers, three guitar players, a bass player, and five microphones set up for drums, but no drums and no drummer. We had exhausted all our options and had settled on the fact that we would have no drums. As we all held hands and began to pray, I noticed a man come and stand near us. We prayed about ten minutes and when we finished this man was still there. He looked at me and introduced himself as the owner of the sound company and he had heard we were in need of a drummer. He said "I am a leader in our local church and I also play on the worship team. I have a drum set on the way and if you would like, I will play them for you." As it all came together, we had a full on celebration of life and family. We did a baby dedication with Amanda and Jody Newberry and their son, Treavor. Next, we had Jackie and Troy Dunn come forward. I asked the bull riders and wives who were present to come up also as we surrounded them and prayed a prayer on commissioning over them. There were a lot of tears shed as twenty or more people surrounded this family as a beautiful demonstration of what the family of God looks like. Troy has now retired and wishes to be used by God in his country of Australia. Mike Lee was next to speak. He was truly anointed as he shared his story and read his favorite scriptures of God's promises. He finished by asking the all 1500 plus people to hold hands and pray this prayer of repentance after him. As the people followed him in prayer you could feel the amazing power of God come over that place. Father, thank you for allowing us to be apart of your amazing work. Guard our hearts and minds as we continue to walk through this life as your ambassadors. In your service, Todd and Leslie
